SAP Mobile Asset
Tracking
The
completion of an Asset Tracking Inventory for
SAP is now easier than ever. Avalon
Integration has integrated a core set of
technologies to provide an automated process for
verifying the existence of an asset and
recording its location within the Enterprise. Offered
with integrated bar code scanning, a user simply
downloads the assets which need to be physically
inventoried and recorded to either a tablet or
notebook device. Once identified, the user
acknowledges that the asset has been located and
can modify asset location information on the
spot (i.e. it is located in room 102 and not
100).
Once
completed, the results of the asset inventory
are uploaded to SAP and posted to reflect the
last inventoried date and asset location.
